Beit Shmuel Jerusalem


Beit Shmuel is a small hotel/hostel, located in the Mamilla district of Jerusalem. The hotel is minutes away from the city center and the historical and religious sites of the Old City.

Beit Shmuel is integrated in a complex that houses the Hebrew Union College. This complex was designed by renowned architect Moshe Safdi, as a part of the extensive Mamilla renovation and restoration project. The Hebrew Union College serves as the main seminary for the American Movement for Reform Judaism.

The complex also houses a cultural center and a music and theatre venue. The cultural center hosts many local activities, such as live music, dance, fine art exhibitions and theatrical productions. The Beit Shmuel Hotel consists of 42 fully accessible rooms, 12 of which have been built to European standards and can accommodate up to four guests. These rooms include amenities like air conditioning, satellite television, wireless internet connection and fully equipped bathrooms. The hotel also has a spacious presidential suite that can accommodate up to eight guests. The presidential suite is located within the Hebrew Union College campus.
