Little Italy

Anyone who's spent an appreciable amount of time in Jerusalem can tell you that when it comes to restaurants, Jerusalemites, much like Americans, love a family-friendly Italian joint. The city may not have many Italian immigrants, but it does have a Little Italy.

One of the stalwart veterans of the Jerusalem Italian scene, Little Italy has been serving up kosher dairy Italian favorites for years from its location on Keren Hayesod Street, within easy walking distance of both the German Colony and the hotels around King David Street.

Families and couples, both Israeli and foreign, fill Little Italy's ample indoor and patio seating section (the restaurant also specializes in large parties). The menu contains no surprises: pizza, pasta with a choice of sauces, fish, focaccia and plenty of other food the kids can't take any issue with.

Business lunch, from 11:00 until 17:00, runs from 44 to 55 NIS and includes an appetizer, a pasta or fish main meal, and a drink.
